Peter... Work, thoughts, and everything in between.

Just a guy building things...

Born in Kraków, Poland in 1979. I grew up in a time when football meant going outside, not watching highlights, and computer games came on cartridges and floppy disks. Atari was a big part of that world, and maybe that’s where everything started, curiosity, systems, and how things actually work. I’ve always been somewhere between technical and practical. I studied engineering and earned an MSc, but I was never the kind of person who wanted theory for the sake of it. I’ve always preferred things that work in real life. Today, I work in operations, managing businesses, solving problems, fixing what doesn’t perform, and building systems that make things run better. It’s not glamorous, but it’s real. And I like real. Outside of work, I’m still drawn to simple things. I like guitars, even if I don’t play as often as I should. I like mountains, walking, not rushing, just moving forward step by step. There’s something about that rhythm that makes sense. I enjoy looking up at the night sky. It reminds me how small things are, and at the same time how interesting they can be. I’ve always been curious about how things work, from machines to software and people 😉 I spend a fair amount of time around computers, sometimes building things, sometimes breaking them, sometimes just exploring. Lately, that curiosity has been pulled more and more toward AI, which feels like one of those moments where everything is quietly shifting. I also have a long-standing interest in history and politics. Not in a textbook way, but in understanding patterns, decisions, and consequences. And yes, sometimes that turns into pointless arguments on X (Twitter), which I probably enjoy more than I should.

I’m not trying to build a personal brand here. This is just a place to put things, thoughts, ideas, fragments of what I’m working on or thinking about.

Nothing polished. Nothing forced. Just a quiet corner of the internet.
